Rolling with the Whitneys is a blog designed to capture our love for traveling. Memorial Day weekend 2015 we took a 36 hour Amtrak Train up to Philly PA.
Our super nice sales rep, Jay Posnack, picked us up from the train station and drove us to the Mercedes Dealership in Devon. As I mentioned before, Jay, who was so super cool, took us on a little site seeing adventure and we got to see the Rocky Steps. You know….Eye of the Tiger, Yo Adrian! Anyway, on to the dealership, we went to complete our transaction. After a few hours of paperwork, we were the proud owners of a Silver 2015 Sprinter!

Our family and friends thought we were crazy….well to be totally honest, some still think this. But we don’t care. We do what we do. The kids will experience things that will leave a lasting impression and memories can’t be taken away. I hope that we all look back on this experience with fond and happy thoughts.
Our friends and family thought we were crazy buying a conversion van, too, but I totally relate to why you went ahead with it. I wanted to make those memories with my family and just get out there and experience life. Have fun out there!
Needless to say “Living In a Van down by the river” allows people to create the most interesting of stares. I think it is because they are either unsure if you are joking or fascinated at the options. We have enjoyed every minute on the road working and writing. Life gets in the way of so many things, but we made the right choice on this one.
Glad to connect! Be safe and we will be watching your posts!
